The Process of Getting a Professional Headshot
Never had a professional photo shoot before? No worries! Many of my clients are first timers. I provide all the directions necessary when you arrive, and walk you through the experience. My goal is to make your photo shoot experience easy and enjoyable. Here is a basic summary of the process:
1. You book your appointment online.
2. You show up at the studio or location of your choice.
3. You pick your favorite images the same day from your private gallery provided.
4. You receive your final retouched images the very next day via email.
5. Your edited finals are delivered via email in two sizes: for print and web.
When you book your appointment we will discuss what your needs are for the images. What is your industry, what are the standards, how will you use the images, etc. We will also discuss wardrobe, background color choices, and makeup. I can also assist with wardrobe choices if needed. Making sure you get the images you need and love, is my primary goal. 🙂
What is included in the session?
+ 60 + mins of shooting time
+ Same day image proofing
+ Private gallery for one year
+ Retouching for your selected finals
+ 48 hr delivery in most cases
What is included in the image retouching?
Typical corrections I will make are: hair fly away removal, teeth whitening, blemish and spot removal, softening wrinkles as needed, color enhancement, or color changes. You can always let me know any particulars you’d like retouched and I’ll will be happy to take care of it. Custom editing is always included in your headshot session fee. Anything you need done within reason, let me know. 🙂
